How do you hook up the PT_texcoord to fractal4d in maya.

I am having problems even locating the node PT_texcoord in the hypershade.

I am sorry, the shader "BA essentials - PT Texcoord" is only for the old 2d billboard texture particle system of XSI.
If you want to texture Maya particles, then you have to use the BA volume shaders. There you have a fractal and a cell shader, that both uses unique 3D coordinates. You can also use any other texture shader that has a 3d vector input for the texture coordinates.

Thanks for the quick reply.

We are very intersted in purchasing a site license for the BA volume shaders. I have downloaded the BA essentials so I could do some tests. We are starting a large project that needs loads of pyroclastic clouds creating. I would like to do some tests to see if your volume shaders will be suitable. Do you do a demo/trial licence for the BA volume shaders?
