2 new addons are ready for download.
They have now support for 64 bit XSI.

Download
For the free shader collection, use this download link:
http://www.binaryalchemy.de/develop/shader/BA_Shader_Collection_13_1_repack.zip
For the Volume shaders, please use the download link that came with your license.

Important changes

Oily_specular:
The shading range of the shader was flipped, 180 degree and 90 degree are now right. If you have a scene with this shader, please change the shading range.

PT_metaball
Two new features:
Set transparency by size: The bigger the particle, the more transparent it is.
Reduce size to neighbour distance: The shader analyses the distance of a particle to the neighbour particle. The size is then influenced by the average distance to the 5 closest particles.
And one essential bug fix (Could not imagine why it was not found till now..):
If you have used the "subtract density" feature and you had particles intersecting, you got artifacts
See images:
OpenGL:
Old version:
Now:

Volume Cloud
New change contrast feature for input
With the new parameters you can change the contrast of the input density, a higher contrast makes the cloud less cloudy and more solid.

New normal generation:
It is now possible that the cloud generated normals by itself. The old version was able to use input normals only. But a noise did not generate a normal. With this new feature is is possible to add more detail to the cloud, which is useful for very dense to solid volumes.
If you have solid volumes, it is not much slower, but the less dense the volume is, the slower it is.

Without normal With normal generation:

All Changes:
175ChangesOily_specular: Disable Alpha gradient by default in spdl
176BugsOily_specular : 90 degree, 180 degree switched
174New_FeaturesRaylength: next raylength-> reflection
199New_FeaturesVolume Cloud: density input contrast slider
199New_FeaturesVolume Cloud: density input contrast slider
189New_FeaturesVolume Cloud: Create normal by input density
191ChangesVolume Cloud:save for each cell, if has to be analysed
210ChangesVolume cloud: memory reduction if normal shading is used, but no scatter
184BugsVolumeSolid: Thickness shadow was influenced by total thickness of volume, not current thickness
168ChangesVolumeSolid: Diffraction back in view direction
169BugsVolumeSolid: thickness shadow for outer rim surface
171New_FeaturesPT_metaball: set transparency by size, the bigger the particle, the more transparent
172New_FeaturesPt_metaball: set particle size=distance to next particle
194BugsPT_metaball: subtract input density: don't subtract more as the particles density
196BugsPT_metaball: if rotate input texture by particle is used, then normal is rotated wrong
197BugsPT_metaball SPDL: Elliptical shape parameter is now allowed to set to 12

XSI 64bit bug and volume license

Default XSI behavior:
1. The startup setenv.bat sets the enviroment variable WORKGROUP_SHADERPLUGINS to the installation directory.
2. While XSI loads the user preferences, WORKGROUP_SHADERPLUGINS is changed to the workgroup path set in the user preferences

The 64 bit version does not execute step 2. To fix the problem you have to set your workgroup path in the setenv.bat or in any other file you execute before XSI is started.
