I think this is a bug, should the BA_Raylength with Occlusion work with rendermapping?

I have tried it with a simple material, applying the BA_raylength into the ambient port of a phong material. Rendermapping Suface colour and illumination.

I can see the shader working in a render region, but no results with rendermapping.

Should this method work? Is it possible to achieve it with a different approach?

Should be working.
Do not disable reflection or refraction rays while rendermapping.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm not disabling either of those.

If you able to test these settings that would be a great help. As like you say, it should work.

you ARE disabling them.

You see the checkboxes in the rendermap PPG?
At the bottom?
The group is labeled "DISABLE Surface Properties"
