Hello Holger,

I am trying to submit nk files via the rrsubmitterconsole and nuke 7
Is there a flag to specify a write node to render only because I have several write nodes in my script and only want to render one of them.
Also I have problems with TCL expressions in my write file path. it looks like:

[string range [value Write_mov.file] 0 80][value root.ver]/[string range [file tail [value Write_mov.file]] 0 12][value root.ver][string range [file tail [value Write_mov.file]] 16 28]

When I submit it via console the output path shows this as string and obviously cannot find the path. I would like to keep the expression but if this does not work i could alter the path....

Any help or pointers would be great..

Hi

For scripted paths, you have to use the nuke submission plugin.

For choosing the Write note, please use -Layer "mynode"

Holger,

thank you for your help.
For anyone who needs it:
You can convert the TCL path to string with the evaluate() command.

pfadStr = write["file"].evaluate()
