Hi,

I'm trying to pass an image sequence through the rrSubmitter to ffmpeg. In theory this should be easy to do (I simply extended the MakeVideo Application with my own settings), but the problem is that ffmpeg expects the input filename to be of a format like image%04d.jpg (although I hear %d.jpg could be enough too). Now, the problem is that SceneFileName and SceneFileNameFN will not give me the name without the padding, and as far as I can see I can't use string replacement for this either. Any idea how to get this done? Also, how can I get the extension from the Scene filename (not the output extension)?

The full command line looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\ffmpeg\ffmpeg.exe" -i "<SceneFolder><SceneFileNameFN>%%d.png" -y "<ImageDir><ImageFilename><EL><ImageExtension>

You could use multiple <EL> at the end of the scene file to remove letters from the end of the name.
This can be used to remove the extension, but I have no idea how to remove a variable width of numbers or how ot get the extension.

This removed 4 letters at the end and a fifth if it is an "." .
<SceneFileNameFN><EL><EL><EL><EL><EL>

Thanks.

Looks like it's probably easier to write a dedicated app for this.

Cheers
