i would use it every day.

exporting and resubmitting (or even autoloading) the xml
isn't that comfortable as it should be.

duplicating a job with one click would be a charm.

i think there are more users out there who would welcome this feature.

best regards,

It is logged.
But just for information: Why do you need to dublicate jobs that often?

we submit scenes with huge frame ranges.
on scene change (master scene) we only need to render a small part again,
which currently makes me reloading the whole scene and submitting it,
either simply duplicating the job with new settings.

would be great to have 2 two options on duplicating a job:
duplicate (and send)
duplicate (and send) disabled

thx.

So you need to only render a small part again?
Just delete the frames you want to re-render and hit the "check" button.

different jobs are better to handle for different clients of the farm,
(rendering lower prio frames on 4 core farm, e.g)

and

we render in a global royal render output path.
on approval it gets copied to the final path.
for a better server space, its better to have a different job containing
a small frame range only, because, e.g. when the first 1000 frames are
finished and its clear that they will not be render again, i could save this space
on the server instead of wasting space for the frame checker.

maybe these arguments are not that heavy,
but for userability it's would be a great feature indeed.

It is logged as feature request, but probably it would not be dublicate, it would be re-send and opens the submitter.
