hi,

When I summit Cinema4D R12 scene , i find that very low CPU time to be used. And not like other kind of scenes which take almost all CPU time. Cinema4D R12 scene render is very slow.

thanks!

Hi

Beside the "reserve CPU for interactive user" RR does not limit the number of CPUs for a renderer.
But as you say thay other renderer render fine, it seems that option is not enabled.

Has the scene many textures?
Can you try a scene with only a few objects and no textures (loads fast),
but with a high resolution (HD), high render settings and complex procedural textures (that is renders long).

Does this scene have the same issue?

This setting should not have anything to do with a low CPU usage.
After an abort you do not have any Cinema4D running and the CPU usage would be 0.
And you would see in the client list at rrControl that the client is not rendering (green).

Note: Disabling this setting could cause instability.
