Hello,
I was trying to use BA_Raylength in order to elavuate transparency of my texture in the render of AO.
original story :
http://www.xsibase.com/forum/index.php?board=12;action=display;threadid=40760;start=8

It seems that there is a problem with Softimage 2010 : when I uncheck the radiobutton "test shadow shader" (transparency tab) I get a message during rendering "pen0.9 warn 0520009: running out of stack space, breaking shader call recursion" and then freeze. (I have a XP32 bits/ 4GB)
Regards,

The bug is already logged, but not yet fixed.
There is some kind of infinite loop that increases memory until it freezes.

I'm sorry, but you have to use "test shadow shader".
You get the fastest render if you use the BA_color_switcher for the transparency and for the shadow shader.
(like the screenshot in the help files of the shader)

But I have made some other bug fixes and new features for 2010:
