Hi,

I noticed that 6.01.64 got a feature we need :
Nuke: Scripted output names in Nuke writer
The submitter plugin inside nuke does read all information (before it was the rrSubmitter reading the nuke file itself)
Therefore it does now support to evaluate scripted names in your write node.
This requires to reinstall the nuke plugin via rrWorkstationInstaller.

However, it doesn't appear to be working. i check the rrSubmit_Nuke_5.py. it says :
# Last change: v 6.01.22

It could be something we are doing wrong. Or did we miss something?

i noticed a forum post saying the updated plugin was not included in the recent release, is this still the case?

thanks again!

doug

Hi

Does it work with the latest update?
If not, what did you enter as output in the write node?

The latest .67 has a fix for the sequence length of the write node, but the scripted path should work in the version right before .67

Hi Holger,

for me it is still not working...

In the submitter I get the whole scripted code as output directory/and output image filename, which of course causes errors...

RR .70
Submitter Plugins reinstalled

Are you using the latest version?
It should be working now. If not, please reinstall the nuke submission plugin and re-submit from within nuke.

Hi Holger,

was quite a time now, since I posted something regarding this topic, but I was busy with other projects..

Now I am facing this error again, which never was fixed in my case...

I have a test scene for you, how can I provide it?

Cheers

Works fine on my side.

The output path in rrSubmitter is the comppath + out\test_
Do you use the latest nuke submission plugin?
You can check the version if you open the plugin c:\programs\[nuke installation]\plugins\rrSubmit via a text editor.

Yes, that is the latest version.

You submit via the plugin in nuke?
And not by starting the rrSubmitter manually to load the nuke file?

I tested with that version and it worked fine.

You can try it with nuke 7 and your example file you send me?
Does it work in Nuke7 on your side?

Hi Holger,

after talking to you at FMX at Wednesday in Stuttgart, I was about to to provide you my nuke scene via the RoyalRender Upload. But unfortunately the link above isn't working...
Could you give me an other link to give you my scene?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Sorry for the late reply.
I placed the nuke file in the folder
e:\programmierung\RoyalRenderGit\support\130516\
Double-click to opened it in Nuke 7.
In Nuke via the menu RRender/submit.
The rrSubmitter opens and shows me
E:\programmierung\RoyalRenderGit\support\130516\out\test\130502-0905__mrhoo_test_RR\branded\test_0800_040_048_###.png

I can only assume that you are not using an old nuke submission plugin.
Please open the file
c:\Program Files\Nuke7.....\plugins\rrSubmit_Nuke_5.py
in a text editor.
What is displayed in the line

PS: To be sure the plugin is used, please delete the file
RR\plugins\submitter_sceneparser\rrSceneParserNuke.dll

Otherwise, please send me a Nuke file again

Hi Holger,

in the "LastChange": 6.02.01

i deleted the rrSceneParserNuke.dll

--- unfortunately still no luck Sad

I also assumed, that it could be something with our network or drive mappings,
so I copied the scene to my local machine - still the same...

I am really desperate...
