Hi again,

with nuke we have the issue:

Code:

R  1| +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
R  2| ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ START ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
R  3| ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 6.02.00 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
R  4| +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
R  5|
R  6| >"C:\Program Files\Softwares\2D\Nuke7.0v4\Nuke7.0.exe" -X Write1  -f -m 24 "C:\RR_localdata\cachedscenes\projets_circus_02_Projects\132_RCZ\dfa55350\renderNK\Shot_430_R_G_TG_X.nk" 1-91/1
R  7| Nuke 7.0v4, 64 bit, built Jan 20 2013.
R  8| Copyright (c) 2013 The Foundry Visionmongers Ltd.  All Rights Reserved.
R  9| Licence expires on: 2013/3/14
R 10| .3
R 11| Writing P:/02_Projects/132_RCZ/08_Output/04_Compo_Out/Shot_430/13-02-14/V_01/Shot_430_R_G_TG_X/Shot_430_R_G_TG_X.0001.tga took 2.29 seconds
R 12| Total render time: 2.29 seconds
R 13| .9Write1: Can't rename .tmp to final, Permission denied

The same client can crash several times, and succeded to write after or before that.

Hi

Right now I do not have an idea why this happens. Never seen this.
If it would happen every time on the same client, then ther is something to check, but random is difficult.
Just to check, there is no other job acessing that footage or writing to it?
Any application that you use to view the output folder?

Ok, we were submitting several instances of the same job while forbidding the sequence to be divided.
We wrote our xml in the autolaunch watchfolder.

Issue fixed here too.

Thank you

You are submitted multiple instances of the same job?
I assume each job has a different frame range, right?
And they never ever overlap in the frame ranges?

Also why are you doing this?
If you submit multiple times the same comp with different frame ranges,
then it is the same as dividing the sequence.

It was the mistake we made when we wrote the xml, the same range for multiple instances. Sorry for the noise.

And the reason why you create multiple of the same job?
I assume there would be a better solution.
If you do not want to render a sequence with holes.

E.g.
1 - 100
[none]
150-175
[none]
587-877
[none]
900-999
