Hi Holger

I am about to update baEssentials as I have just installed Soft 2013, and am a bit confused about which version to use. I have Arnold 4.0 and see that for the newest versions where you have logged fixes: Arnold 4.0 there is apparently no version for MentalRay AND Arnold, but I will have to use two different versions - is this correct?

A bit extra puzzling is that these versions are called v25.01.06 and the previous version which is MR + Arnold is also called v25.01.06 - is this intentional?

So to put it short and sweet: If I want a baEssentials version that works with MR and Arnold 4.0 in Softimage 2013, which one(s) should I go for?

Thanks.

The version of the shaders is the same (same functions, no bug fixes).
But they have been recompiled for the new Arnold version.

As some customers use the old and some use the new Arnold version, I cannot ship an XSI addon with both versions.
So you have to install the latest MRay addon for your XSI version. (remove the old first).
Then copy the Arnold shader Dlls into the sitoa DLL folder.
