Hi!

Is there a simple explanation to how RR works with plugins?

As i understand a can do a "core" install of after effects and then let RR handle the plugins on a remote server? Or am i completly wrong? How would it work with lets say optical flares plugin that locks the serial to a hardware id??

Hi

AFX requires to be installed on every machine with all plugins.
So far afx has no way to use a shared folder with plugins.

If the license is locked to the hardware ID, then you need to have a license for every machine.
No matter if you would have the plugins in a shared location or not.
It is their license type.
