Hi Holger,

Is there a way to cut out one particle based volume from the other one?
I'm trying to render separately two layers of particle volumes so I need to cut one out of the other.

You need to put particle_density into one render tree, then you can do all math with the densities.
The particle_density can pick particle data from clouds that are invisible for primary/secondary/shadow/reflection/refraction
