Hello,

We are trying to find a place where we can access pre-built dll's for ffmpeg.

We were hoping that you could provide these dll's, or point us in the right direction to find them.

Hi

It's all in the help files:
www.RoyalRender.de/help/index.htm?rrApplications/Pre-_Post-_Done-_scripts/Pre-_Post-_Done-_scripts.htm#More_codecs

We have read through the page: http://www.royalrender.de/help/index.htm?rrApplications/Pre-_Post-_Done-_scripts/Pre-_Post-_Done-_scripts.htm#More_codecs

Examples commandlines for codecs:

Quicktimes dnxhd (for final cut import, see table for possible resolutions/bitdepth/fps ):
"<rrBin>rrCreateVideo.exe" "<ImageDirComplete><..\><ImageFilename>.mov" "<ImageDir><ImageFilename>#<ImageExtension>" -fullres -codec dnxhd -kbit 120 -fps

We are trying to get the codec dnxhd working. Do you have a dll of the dnxhd codec already built for us to use?

We have tried to build the dll ourselves but have been unsuccessful.

Of maybe we are going about this the wrong way, what do we need to attempt to run rrCreateVideos with the dnxhd codec?

we were getting the following error: "Codec dnxhd not found"

Now after unsuccessfully attempting to create our own dxnhd codec we get the following error:

Compiler did not align stack variables. Libavcodec has been miscompiled
and may be very slow or crash. This is not a bug in libavcodec,
but in the compiler. You may try recompiling using gcc >= 4.2.
Do not report crashes to FFmpeg developers.

We have tried to recompile with gcc >= 4.2 but still does not work.

thanks in advance,

mdreams

We finally did find the correct Win32 builds here: http://ffmpeg.arrozcru.org/autobuilds/ffmpeg/mingw32/shared/

So we have access to all the codecs now. thanks!

One more question, how would we merge/concatenate multiple movies together? (specifically we are using the animation codec)

We know how to do it for mp4 files using MP4Box but have not figured out how to with quicktime files (anim codec).

thanks,

mdreams

Hi

I am sorry, but I have never tested to merge multiple quicktimes together.
And I suppose you need a special application that does this.
