Hello,
I'm having similar problems as the authors of these posts--

but haven't been able to resolve my problem based on these posts.
I'm running Maya 2010 on a 32-bit Windows operating system, and I'm trying to install the v 24.0 postcard-ware shaders. When I try to use a shader or render an example scene, I get a
"couldn't find shader library" warning.
I think I've installed it properly--I was following Boaz Livny's instructions in his mental ray book, and they seem to match the ones in the forum here.
In one of the above posts, you talked about a license file--do I need that for the postcard-ware? The only file I could find was the license.txt, which didn't seem to help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
The volume share require a license file, not the essentials.
It could be that the redistributable package is missing.
Please install "Visual Studio Redistributable package 2005 SP1 x32"

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) (I couldn't find the 32 bit version), but unfortunately I'm still getting the same errors as above.
Do you have any other suggestions for me?

I will create a new version of the shaders in about 2 weeks.
