Hi this is me again, thanks alot for the fast solve of the Workstationinstaller on Mac.
Im currently at Acht Frankfurt and we would like to use Royal Render. They are convinced to 90 Percent. But what really important is for us, is the Mac Submitter for Aftereffects and Cinema 4D. The installer works fine, but there is a Path problem, on Mac we have Paths like /Volumes/Projects/RR_6_Trial... When I run the Submitter on Mac Cinema 4D the Submitter cant find a scene File. I can add it manually, but then I need to change to "*all files" in the browser window, to access the Cinema 4D files. After Submitting, Im getting an error in the RR_Control_Manager; "Output directory not found" Where "Royal Render Server. When I try to open the Path from Windows I also cant open. The UNC Path on our Windows-Based Network is
\\Sanserver\projects\RR_6_ProjectTrial...

Thanks in advance
Egbert

Hi

"Output directory not found":
Please open rrControl on windows/linux. Is the output path of the job right?
It should be a windows/linux path and not an OSX path any more.
If not, then the paths have to be added to the OS conversion table in rrConfig.
After you have added the paths to the table, please re-submit.

I have also logged the issues that you cannot submit from inside Cinema4D and that you cannot load a Cinema4D scene into the submitter:
#rr1927 Submitter Plugins: mac: cinema4D submitter not working
#rr1928 Submitter Plugins: Mac: unable to browse for Cinema4D files

Hi,

Thanks alot, and this is a great experience to have such a fast feedback.
The Submission from AfterEffects Mac is now Working, the Pathes are fixed now. Thanks, this is intuitiv, Perfect!
It seems to work quite well, also we started working with Fusion parallel. Fusion is also working fine.
Cinema 4D is Rendering, but stops after 28 Frames (SequenceCheck) in a Sequence duration of 100 Frames and it seems that there is something, what I can´t explain now.

The Cinema 4D Submitter would be great to have.

Best Regards

Egbert
