Any red render log files?
Nope

Please check the error log of the job.
If a client is deassigned, then there has to be an error.
There are no errors in the job. Only perhaps warnings.

Will try to post some logs next week.

Hi,

We're using RR with a few Mantra jobs, but we keep seeing that RR deassigns the clients for no reason.

The job log doesn't even say that the clients are deassinged. Is there anyway else I ca ...

Perhaps this could be done with a c++ python library, but first the commandline output application.
Ah, ok. Any ETA?

There will not be any other SDK connection.
And if, then it would not be possible via python, it has to be C++.
The data has to be requested via TCP/IP and is then send in compressed blocks.

Right now, you can only write a plugin for the rrServer or read the local website. (And change their template)
Does that mean "No, there are no plans for a public Python API"?

Is it possible for an post script job to change the job status.

Eg. we have a script which does additional checks on the frames rendered and determines that some frames needs to be re-rendered.

We have a huge problem with the latest RR. It thinks that the render client is having low cpu usage even if it's using 100%, which will make it abort the job after a maximum of 99 min. Since it ...

Thanks Smile

Just a quick question.
How does one add other passes aswell?
Is that through the variables or is there a smarter way through parameters?

We are having some problems with naming render passes together with the rrSubmitterConsole.

First of all we do not use the scene parser and need to specify the output names/directories manually.

Had to change the same setting for Linux.

csh is terrible and not standard in either OS. Perhaps consider changing it for RR in general?

I'm looking for a way to query the server through a python script about job queue and job status.

Wasn't this one of the features of RR 6 compared to RR 5?

It seems that the rrViewer and rrSequenceChecker doesn't support little endian dpx files.

I just get this :
